Teachers, nurses, first responders and hospitality workers should be able to live in the county they serve. Orange County's housing costs have outrun its paychecks, and the answer is more homes of every kind, built faster, in the places people want to live.

• Speed up permitting and cut review times so attainable homes get built, not stuck.
• Put the county's Affordable Housing Trust Fund to work on projects that deliver units, and measure results publicly.
• Support homeownership for first-time buyers and protect renters from unfair practices.
• Partner with faith communities, nonprofits and employers to build on land the county already controls.

Growth should pay its own way and arrive with the roads, schools, drainage and parks that make a neighborhood work. Every district — from Pine Hills to Horizon West — deserves investment, not just the ones that shout loudest.

• Require infrastructure to be in place, or funded, before large developments are approved.
• Protect rural boundaries and the environmental lands that make Central Florida livable.
• Direct county investment to neighborhoods that have waited longest for it.
• Bring residents into planning early, with plain-language notices and meetings that fit working schedules.

Orange County residents spend too much of their lives in traffic. The county needs a transportation plan with real funding behind it — for roads, transit, sidewalks and trails — and a Mayor who will see it through.

• Fix the most dangerous intersections and corridors first, using crash data, not politics.
• Work with LYNX and SunRail to make transit frequent enough to be a real option.
• Build safe sidewalks, crossings and bike routes near schools, parks and bus stops.
• Use technology to coordinate signals and keep traffic moving on the county's busiest roads.

As a Commissioner, Tiffany secured the Campanella Avenue drainage pipe, infrastructure funding for Little Egypt and neighborhood traffic projects. As Mayor she'll bring that same attention to the basics — water, drainage, roads and sidewalks — countywide.

• Publish a countywide infrastructure scorecard so residents can see what's planned and what's done.
• Prioritize flood-prone neighborhoods and aging stormwater systems ahead of hurricane season.
• Maintain what we have before building what we don't need.
• Pursue every available state and federal dollar to stretch local taxes further.

Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of everything else. Tiffany has spent years alongside the courts, the Sheriff's Office and domestic-violence advocates, and knows that safety means prevention and response working together.

• Recruit, train and retain the deputies, firefighters and paramedics a growing county needs.
• Invest in youth programs, mental-health response and domestic-violence services that stop crime before it starts.
• Strengthen hurricane and emergency preparedness for every community, including seniors and residents with disabilities.
• Keep the public informed with honest, timely communication during emergencies.

Small businesses are Orange County's largest employer, and its economy can't rest on tourism alone. Tiffany prioritized micro-loans for small businesses as a Commissioner and will make county government a partner, not an obstacle.

• Cut the red tape: faster licenses, clearer rules, one point of contact at the county.
• Expand access to capital for minority-, women- and veteran-owned businesses.
• Grow high-wage sectors — health care, technology, simulation, aerospace and skilled trades.
• Connect residents to training and apprenticeships that lead to good jobs close to home.

Tiffany secured funding for Orange County's first cricket field and the new Holden Heights Community Center. She believes every neighborhood deserves places to play, gather and create.

• Build and upgrade parks and community centers in the districts with the least green space.
• Expand after-school, senior and summer programs at county recreation sites.
• Support local arts and cultural organizations that make Orange County a place people want to live, not just visit.
• Protect lakes, springs and trails for the next generation.
